As the current Chapter President, Jarred has the responsibility of overseeing all chapter committees, running chapter meetings, and working with the National Chapter to ensure the Mu Rho chapter operates at its greatest potential. After graduation, he plans to obtain his CPA and work in audit. In his free time, Jarred likes to go camping, traveling and relaxing with friends.

Ricky Shan

Operational Accounting Intern- CBRE


As Executive Vice President, Ricky is responsible for managing chair and committee positions to maximize overall efficiency of chapter operations. He is a junior majoring in Accounting and previously served as the Professional Development Chair. Ricky plans to obtain his CPA and is looking forward to working with PwC after he graduates. In his free time, Ricky likes to play basketball, viola, and hang out with friends.

Avni Mithal

As Vice President of Finance, some of Avni’s responsibilities include keeping track of all received and expanded chapter funds, being custodian to all the financial books of the chapter as well as preparing a budget to cover all necessary expenditures of this chapter. Avni pledged in the Omicron class and also previously served as Service Chair. Some of her hobbies include traveling, doing anything outdoors and active and playing tennis.

Garrett Walsh

As Master of Rituals, Garrett heads the organization and execution of the four rituals that take place over the course of each pledging process. Garrett is currently a sophomore accounting major, and after graduating, he plans to obtain his masters and CPA license and then work in corporate accounting. In his free time, Garrett likes to perform in musical theater productions, listen to podcasts, produce music, and watch movies.

Joel Ninan

Year/Class: Fall 2018; Pi Class

As Chief of Compliance, Joel manages judicial affairs within the chapter in order to ensure that the Chapter’s bylaws and other guiding documents are being properly followed. Additionally, Joel serves as the Risk Management Representative for the University’s Student Organization Center. Joel hopes to graduate with a degree in Finance with a focus on risk management and insurance. Joel’s hobbies include traveling, reading, spending time with friends, and watching game shows.

Nick Langenfeld

As Vice President of Operation, Nick is in charge of keeping records of chapter meetings, records of all brothers in the chapter, and the dates and times of upcoming events. Nick currently plans on getting a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Nick enjoys watching movies and movie reviews, hiking, and getting as much sleep as he can.

As Vice President of Membership, Sharan’s duties include formulating the semester’s recruitment strategy, executing rush week, and managing the pledge process. Additionally, Sharan is a member of the Davidson Management Honors Program. In her free time, Sharan loves to dance, spend time with friends and family, and travel around the world. This semester, Sharan is working at the Student Success Center as a Writing Peer Leader.

As Vice President of Public Relations, Rachel manages all the marketing material throughout the course of the semester, endorsing rush week, and overseeing the social media. Rachel plans on pursuing her Healthcare Management Degree. She recently served as the Brotherhood Development Chair. Rachel is also a member of the Davidson Management Honors Program and an Orientation Leader. She enjoys listening to music, finding new places to eat, travelling, and spending time with her friends.

As Vice President of Alumni Relations, Karan’s duties include providing opportunities for Alumni, coordinating Alumni events, and strengthening relationships with Alumni and the chapter to have a better sense of networking. Upon graduation, Karan hopes to get into the business aspect of technology as a computer science and finance major. He also wants to develop his skills in data science and machine learning.
